Hello, I am Betül Koç. I am studying Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Firat University. I did my Erasmus Mobility in Maribor, Slovenia in the summer term of 2019-2020.  It was a pleasure for me,  I am so happy about  choose Maribor  for Erasmus. Because, Maribor has a good location and if i compare with other European cities, Maribor is really cheaper than other cities; especially for students. Erasmus  changed me.  I learned lots of things while I was there. Before I went there, I was too scared to go abroad alone. At the begining I didn’t  trust to myself. Sometimes I thought not to go. But a week after I went to Maribor, everything changed. I got used to living with foreign people in same building and speaking shamelessly in English with my foreign friends. I started  to live in European style and at the same time getting used to European education. If i will mention about University of Maribor, University of Maribor has different education. The teachers are really disciplined and strive to tell you everything about the lessons  and just want from you to understand what they tell you about the lessons. And the most important point of Erasmus for me is that you have to study for pass the exams. If you  are not studying  and not going to school, don't wait for pass the classes. Thanks to Erasmus, I have changed and improved myself in most subjects. I learned better how to find solutions in difficult contexts, to develop an idea and put it into practice, to cooperate in teams, to speak English without shame, to express myself clearly, to travel other cities on my own and so on. Luckily I joined to Erasmus Mobility. I recommend everyone to do Erasmus.
